The Work
Aims
In looking to God to provide for us and direct us in all things, we hope to be able to continue the work in the following ways:
- Supporting and planting local churches
- Teaching the Bible and Reformed truths to all who desire to learn
- Outreach work in the locality
- Providing resources, particularly Bibles and Reformed literature to the local people in the native language
- Providing emergency/basic medical aid to those in need
Building Work
- A large mission compound which includes a large space suitable for church services, kitchen, medical room, guest rooms suitable for long distance visitors, library area, suitable rooms for bible studies/classes
- Two Mission houses for each missionary family
- House for workers for long term labourers/security
- Water tower and tanks to provide sustainable water supply
- Solar power and generator to provide reliable power to buildings
- Improving the road from land to main road in order to provide reliable and safe passage
- Ongoing work to build a dedicated church building
Missionary Work
- 3 acres of land are farmed and the harvest is used for food aid
- Weekly Services at Manna Bible Church (the church at the land) including prayer meeting and Sunday service
- Weekly Sunday School, youth class and adult bible class for locals
- Weekly Bible classes in various locations, some are up to 1 hour’s journey away from the land
- Monthly Men and Women’s Bible study
- Regular visiting and outreach work in the local area
