The Work

Aims

In looking to God to provide for us and direct us in all things, we hope to be able to continue the work in the following ways:

  • Supporting and planting local churches
  • Teaching the Bible and Reformed truths to all who desire to learn
  • Outreach work in the locality
  • Providing resources, particularly Bibles and Reformed literature to the local people in the native language
  • Providing emergency/basic medical aid to those in need

Building Work

  • A large mission compound which includes a large space suitable for church services, kitchen, medical room, guest rooms suitable for long distance visitors, library area, suitable rooms for bible studies/classes
  • Two Mission houses for each missionary family
  • House for workers for long term labourers/security
  • Water tower and tanks to provide sustainable water supply
  • Solar power and generator to provide reliable power to buildings
  • Improving the road from land to main road in order to provide reliable and safe passage
  • Ongoing work to build a dedicated church building

Missionary Work

  • 3 acres of land are farmed and the harvest is used for food aid
  • Weekly Services at Manna Bible Church (the church at the land) including prayer meeting and Sunday service
  • Weekly Sunday School, youth class and adult bible class for locals
  • Weekly Bible classes in various locations, some are up to 1 hour’s journey away from the land
  • Monthly Men and Women’s Bible study
  • Regular visiting and outreach work in the local area
